[SafeTypist News] The Ergonomics Society of Korea, headed by Professor Jae-hee Park of Hankyong National University, officially established the organizing committee for the "22nd International Ergonomics Association Congress (IEA 2024 Jeju)" on the 23rd. The committee hosted an inaugural ceremony, expressing hopes for the successful execution of this triennial official academic conference organized by the International Ergonomics Association (IEA).

The IEA Congress, organized by the International Ergonomics Association, has been held every three years since its inception in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1961, totaling 21 conferences. The 22nd congress is scheduled to take place over six days starting from August 24 next year at the Jeju International Convention Center (ICC). The event is co-hosted by the Ergonomics Society of Korea and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency. This marks the second international academic conference held in Korea, following the 2003 event in Seoul, generating anticipation among domestic safety and health professionals.
